In the next six months, Utsavak is launching a consumer-facing marketplace — a single app where families and corporates search, compare, and book event venues directly. Think Urban Company, but for weddings and functions.
When that launches, a family in Pune looking for a 500-guest mandap will type "Koregaon Park banquet hall" and see a ranked list. The venues that show up first will be the ones who joined during early access. The ones who joined after will pay to rank.

How the consumer marketplace will work
When a family searches "banquet hall Lucknow under ₹2L for 300 guests", our ranking will consider: venue rating, response time, completeness of listing, verified payment track record, and early-access status. That last factor is a permanent multiplier for venues who joined before the public launch.
It’s our way of saying thank you to the venues who believed in us early. And it’s a competitive moat that stacks every year.
What happens when you wait
We’re being direct: if you skip early access, three things happen.

- 2You’ll pay to catch up. Ranking boosts, featured placements, promoted slots — these will all cost money once the marketplace launches.
- 3The best slots fill up. In every city, we’re capping top-tier listings at 20–30 venues. Once full, the premium visibility positions close.

Frequently asked questions
Is early access really free forever?
Yes. Venues who join during early access will never pay a subscription fee on Utsavak. When the consumer marketplace launches, they will pay no listing fees and no ranking fees — permanent priority placement is included.
What’s the catch?
No catch, but we’re capping early access at a fixed number of venues per city. Once a city fills up, new venues join the regular (paid) tier.
How long will it take to set up?
About 10 minutes. Our team will help you upload photos, set up packages, and go live on the same day you sign up.
Can I leave later?
Yes. No contracts, no lock-in. You can export your data and deactivate your listing any time.
